Inspired by the interactive theatre experiences of the studio Blast Theory and the applications of augmented reality, Quaternion.identity is an immersive theatre location-based augmented reality game that challenges its players to think about the broader ramifications of internet privacy breaches and fake news. This project is also a commentary on privacy and online presence in the twenty first century world. We wanted to experiment if the user would realize the risk that comes along with their online presence, where they are playing to reclaim identity. We also wanted to investigate the fine line between friends trolling online and a serious hack.

This is an ongoing project.
